Step into the serene beauty of the Waitrose Leckford Estate for a nurturing day retreat that blends breathwork, yoga, and nature connection. Set in the tranquil Garden for Mind, this special experience is part of the Winchester Garden Festival’s 9-day celebration of horticulture, wellbeing, and connection to place.
We’ll gather on the Clover Lawn, surrounded by mature trees and birdsong, to move, breathe, and restore — body, mind, and spirit. Open to all adults of all genders, this retreat offers a welcoming, inclusive space to explore science-backed, evidence-based practices that support nervous system health, resilience, and deep rest.

09:30 – Arrival & Welcome Refreshments
Enjoy herbal teas and light morning nourishment as you settle into the peaceful Garden for Mind and the Grade II Listed Wellbeing Space.
10:00 – Morning Session:
Preparatory Breathwork & Strength-Building Yoga on the Clover Lawn
A revitalising practice to awaken the body and energise the mind. Expect flowing, breath-led movement to build heat, improve focus, and enhance physical resilience.
In the event of rain, we’ll move into the beautiful Grade II listed building set within the estate — offering shelter without losing the sense of peace and presence.
12:00 – Seasonal Vegan Lunch
Fresh, nourishing dishes from the Waitrose Leckford Estate & kitchen garden — simple, seasonal, and full of flavour.
13:00 – Guided Nature Walk
A mindful stroll through the estate’s sweeping lawns and mature trees, offering space to reflect and absorb the beauty of your surroundings.
13:30 – Afternoon Session (Indoors):
Transformational Breathwork & Restorative Yoga
Held in a beautifully renovated Grade II listed building, purposefully designed for wellbeing days. This deeply integrative and detoxifying session uses conscious breath and long-held, healing postures to release tension, soothe the nervous system, and invite true rest. Inspired by the principles of Yin and Yoga Nidra, this practice helps you soften, slow down, and reconnect from within.
16:00 – Departure
Leave grounded, energised, and rebalanced — with a toolkit of practices to carry into everyday life.

👤 About Your Guide
Katherine is a breathwork and yoga teacher with over 25 years of personal practice and professional training in movement, breath, and resilience. She holds 200-hour certifications in both Yoga and Breath Coaching, and is also experienced in facilitating cold water immersion and sauna sessions to support nervous system regulation, stress relief, and mental clarity.
Founder of Blue Stone Retreats, Katherine brings a grounded, nature-connected approach to everything she teaches. She began offering retreats after completing her training during lockdown, recognising the growing need for people to reconnect with themselves, their breath, and the natural world.
A sustainability professional by background, Katherine blends science-backed techniques with ancient wisdom — helping others find space, balance, and strength through breath, stillness, and movement. Her classes and retreats are always held in nature-rich environments, designed to support long-lasting wellbeing beyond the mat.
